Gianni Depaoli self-taught material artist was born on 04 March 1961. He lives and works in Candia Canavese in a former “Menotrenta” Museum Warehouse, the exhibition rooms are the former cold rooms. Since 2007 Gianni Depaoli has participated in exhibitions and creates installations on environmental degradation and human with itinerant projects supported by museums and institutional bodies. Many are the prizes obtained by the artist, Biennale Asolo, GemLucArt Montecarlo, Paratissima Turin. Numerous museums and institutional bodies host his works. The medium used for its expression is organic: scraps of skin and ink from cephalopods and edible fish.
