Artist Statement The earth has an abundance of water, but unfortunately, only a very small percentage (about 0.3 percent), is even usable by humans and resources continue to dwindle. This particular body of “water” paintings emphasize this precious resource we seem to take for granted so much of the time. Climate change is a sad reality that becomes more dire every day and we have to realize, embrace, and address this global emergency before it’s too late. The access to safe, clean water is a basic human right. Water is life!
